Isik University Sile Campus

Isık University was founded in 1996. It is the work of Feyziye Schools Foundation's well-established 125-year educational tradition. On 14 December 1885, the institution which started its education life as Feyz-i Primary School in Thessaloniki has witnessed the National Sovereignty, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's Principles and Revolutions and the period between Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey and got the name “Isık High School“ with the approval of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in 1934. It also integrated with Semsi Efendi School where Great Leader Ataturk graduated.

Sile Campus of Isık University has 3 faculties, 1 institute and research centers.

EEC’s Role

EEC established the fire alarm systems at the faculty and institute buildings on campus. EEC performed the engineering, procurement and commissioning services of these systems. System design and material selection was made according to the EN54 standard.

Technical Approach

The fire alarm system covers the main buildings on campus. Every building has a detached fire alarm panel and corresponding analogue addressable detector, buttons and warning devices. The system has its own network communication. The alarm and failure information of buildings can be monitored at the system center. LPCB certified Ziton analogue addressable fire alarm system has been used in the system.
