It currently continues its operations under the name of Olmuksan International Paper Ambalaj San. Tic. A.Ş. The total facility area is 73.000 sqm. Fine wave (B), coarse wave (C), microwave (E) and double wave corrugated cardboard production is conducted in the facility  in the İnegöl Organized Industrial Zone.

Role of EEC

EEC created a Fire Detection and Alarm System solution in the Olmuksan İnegöl factory project. In the system, UTC EDWARDS products, which are unrivaled in the sector with their advanced control and communication technologies, smart detection and unmatched survival characteristics, were used. For process safety, special designs were applied with products such as flame detectors and Securiton ADW. The system was designed in all areas in accordance with EN54 standards, commissioning works were completed and user training and system handover was executed. EEC also ensues maintenance works with its technical services staff in accordance with EN54 standards, ensuring that the system operates with the same precision as it did the first day.

Technical Approach

Towards the end of 2007, the system was commissioned with the UTC Edwards Fire Alarm Control Panels. There are Signature Series detectors connected to these panels. The Signature Series detectors of the UTC Edwards system, which have the capability to run with unshielded cables, process the time sensitive information transmitted from one, two or three sensors through their own micro-processors, compare this information with the fire algorithms obtained as a result of long tests and pre-loaded into their memory, and autonomously decide whether there is a fire or not.

The Fire Alarm System also includes a supervising and control module that acts according to the fire scenario and controls the extinguishing system equipment, the mechanical devices used in smoke removal and other relevant systems. Within the factory, there are 2 EST3 fire detection panels and some 500 Signature Series addressable detectors, alarm call-points, I/O modules and Securiton ADW, OSID dual-frequency Beam type detectors connected to these panels.
