EEC held a seminar at The Marmara Taksim Hotel on February 17, 2016 to introduce its new American business partner S2 Security's Security Management Systems. The seminar, which was participated by the Security and IT Managers from leading companies in Turkey, attracted great attention.
After the opening speech introducing EEC by Haluk Yanık, Chairman of Board of Directors of EEC Integrated Building Control Systems; Todd Smith, Vice President of S2 Security, presented the S2 Security product program. Mr. Smith said: "S2 Security is an award-winning access control, video security and mobile security management ecosystem manufactured entirely in the USA. Our products have been used in over 24.000 systems in more than 70 countries for the last 14 years. Providing integrated video and access control solutions in a single box; our S2 Security NetBox systems are 100% web-based and do not require any software installation or server/client license fees." Mr. Smith also drew attention to the fact that the future of security technologies is web-based systems, and added that the newly-installed S2 Security systems are able to operate in harmony with the existing cameras and card readers in enterprises.
In the second session, the S2 Security systems that are widely implemented in major reference projects around the world in a wide range of industries from finance, transportation, pharmaceuticals to technology such as at the Dolmabahçe Palace, Etihad Airways, Pfizer, UBS and Twitter etc., were explained in details.
In the last session of the seminar; Lars Pedersen, Sales Director at S2 Security, demonstrated the S2 Security and iPad application "Mobile Security Officer" offered free of charge. He instantly gained access to the live images of the security cameras of their offices in the USA and the images of events recorded in the access control system over the internet. After the introduction of the module, which efficiently scans people in emergency evacuations; the seminar ended with the Q&A session.
