EEC held a seminar at the Grand Hyatt Taksim Hotel on February 4-5, 2015 to introduce its business partner Xtralis’ revolutionary new product VESDA E. The seminar, which was participated by the managers of many consulting, project and contracting companies and end users, attracted great attention.
In his opening speech; Haluk Yanık, Chairman of Board of Directors at EEC Integrated Building Control Systems, talked about the aspirating highly-sensitive smoke detection systems of EEC and their deep-rooted cooperation with Xtralis since 1988. Then, Khaleel Rehman, Middle East Sales Director at Xtralis, said: “Xtralis is the designer and pioneer of aspirating highly-sensitive smoke detection systems in the world. With our over 30 years of experience, we have more than 600.000 installed systems in 85 countries. Our VESDA products are used in more than 300 of the Fortune Top 500 Corporations. Mohammad Rajabi, Middle East Design Center Manager at Xtralis, introduced the application areas of Aspirating Highly-Sensitive Smoke Detection Systems and talked about the superior characteristics of this system compared to others. Tawfeeq Al-Farra, Fire Detection Product Manager at Xtralis, briefed the participants about the innovations offered by the New Generation Aspirating Highly-Sensitive Smoke Detection System VESDA E, such as its much higher sensitivity level, modular structure, analytical capabilities, gas detection and addressability etc., and answered the questions of the participants by performing a live demonstration of the product. The seminar continued with the introduction of Xtralis’ VLI, ECO, VLC Zone 2 products designed for industrial applications. Finally, Mert Ulaş, Product Development and Marketing Manager at EEC, briefed the participants about the cooperation between EEC and Xtralis in projects, and the VESDA systems that EEC has been successfully implementing for many years.
On the second day of the seminar, Mohammad Rajabi provided information about the OSID beam smoke detectors as a unique product in its own field, and performed a live demonstration. After the speech of Tawfeeq Al-Farra introducing the VESDA product family; Mohammad Rajabi provided a design training on the VESDA systems, and demonstrated the exclusive design program ASPIRE.
The seminar, which attracted great interest from the participants, ended with the questions and answers session, and certificates were distributed to all participants.
