Mistral İzmir is a 216 meter high building with an indoor area of ​​124 thousand square meters, and consists of two towers in the form of a 47-floor office tower and a 37-floor residence tower with 10 floors allocated for hotel use. The facility attracts intense number of users and visitors.

EDWARDS Fire Detection and Alarm Systems are used at Mistral İzmir, which is recognized as one of the highest buildings in İzmir.

We have been cooperating with EEC since 2019 for the fire detection and alarm systems maintenance services at Mistral İzmir. The equipment can be easily assembled and disassembled and cleaned easily.

Besides, the functionality of the FireWorks Graphic Monitoring Software display is very useful, allowing us to monitor pollution levels and all other conditions. As all devices are equipped with an intelligent system, they can communicate with each other. This enables us to follow the feedback from the field. So, we can get an idea without attending the field. We can extract reports and have full control of incident records.

Deadlines vary on case-by-case basis because our requests are complicated and specific, and we usually make a request on a single problem. Yes, our problems are solved, surely, they can be sometimes costly, but they are solved. The installations here were not made by EEC, but EEC assumes the installations in our other construction sites and provides us with commissioning and supervision services, and we do not experience any problems for the completion of the works there.

This excellent communication with your sales team has allowed us to make improvements here with management support. My perception has changed as well, I can easily say this in most aspects. We can speak the same technical language and feel that our problems are addressed faster and more confidently.

Now, we are generating projects together on the side of fire. For example, we are currently working on lighting automation. This is a very good advantage for us, meaning that we can establish solution partnerships for the other systems as well.

Mr. Orçun from your technical team has been working with us for the last 3.5 years and he is always reachable by telephone day and night. This gives confidence to me and my co-workers, and I would like to thank him for his support. In fact, I wish he could be here to work with us one day per week.

The Maintenance Team Had Acted in Full Compliance with the Pandemic Rules

Pandemic was one of the most challenging problems for us. The controls of the detectors in some areas were not easy to make, but they were successfully completed without any negative situations.

EEC had made us feel that it was closely following up the agenda during the pandemic. They submitted the necessary documents to the relevant authorities even before we asked them to do so. This is a great advantage as well. They submitted all their vaccination cards, other necessary documents and training papers. They had the necessary awareness during the pandemic period, avoiding close contact with others at all times and protecting themselves, us and our co-workers. I think that we excellently managed the pandemic process together.

We would definitely recommend the product offered by Edward. It is a practical program that is easy to use and monitor. We can easily extract the event records and get the necessary data quickly in case of a judicial process, and it responds to all our requests.

Is Fire Detection Absolutely Necessary? Yes, it is.

When our guests intend to design a new office and if there is no fire detection system yet, we do not allow for the activation of it according to our specifications, even if they have already completed all their construction works. We implement strict rules about it. We even meet with the owners or designers and explain the importance of the subject to them. We adopt a very sensitive approach in terms of escape scenarios etc. at our tower, and we give utmost importance to scenario tests and trainings. Is fire detection absolutely necessary? Yes, it is.
